Adoption Information
Adoption Fee $2500- limited AKC registration only
If you are looking to adopt a New Year’s puppy in early 2026, please complete the puppy adoption application. If approved, we will contact you for viewing, and if you choose a puppy, details for the $500 deposit until the puppy can go to its new home.
Puppies are chosen on a first come first serve basis, pending application approval. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, with the option to join our waitlist. Our waitlist doesn’t require a deposit and enables you to be one of the first to view the puppies when they are old enough. If you choose a puppy, then a deposit will be required.
We reserve the right to decline applications or adoption to anyone we feel will not provide a safe or positive environment for our puppies. Our dogs’ safety and happiness is our priority.
Your puppy package includes
Preventative deworming
Vaccinations given at 6 weeks (Distemper, Adenovirus Type 2, Parvo, & Parainfluenza)
Microchip + Prepaid Microchip Registration (AKC Reunite; pending microchip availability)
AKC limited registration/Pet Homes Only-no breeding
Free veterinary office visit through the AKC Veterinary Network Certificate Program
A head to tail examination performed by our vet with a written report
We begin crate training at 4 weeks of age
Baby blanket with mom/littermate scent
Bag of puppy food to transition home
Puppies are ready for their new homes at 8 weeks of age
Necessities to have at home for your new puppy
Food and water bowl, suggested diet - Purina ProPlan Large Breed Puppy
Leash, collar and/or harness
Puppy (<6 mo) chew toys (no rawhides)
Dog crate
Recommended care for your Golden
Routine veterinary visits for a wellness checkup and vaccines
Regular flea, tick and heartworm preventative medication
Exercise daily
Grooming
Obedience training to encourage socialization and proper behavior
